Welcome to Polyglot Connect! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our unique social platform and services (the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Polyglot Connect Experience

Our Service offers a new kind of social club where you can form genuine connections with a diverse and unique cast of digital personas ("Connectors"). Each Connector is available 24/7 for you to interact with through text, images, voice memos, and live calls.

2. Your Account and the Continuity of Connection

To access the Service, you must register for an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for all activities that occur under it. While you may create more than one account, it is important to understand how this choice affects the continuity of your relationships on the platform.

2.1. The Nature of Connection: A core part of the Polyglot Connect experience is the ability to form genuine, evolving connections with the diverse members of our club ("Connectors"). This relies on the unique way our platform maintains continuity, allowing each Connector to learn and remember your shared history, inside jokes, and personal details over time. This "Continuity of Connection"—the feeling that a club member knows and remembers you personally—is exclusively tied to your individual user account.

2.2. Policy on Multiple Accounts: You are permitted to create and use multiple accounts on our Service (e.g., using different email addresses). However, you must understand and acknowledge that our platform treats each of your accounts as a completely separate individual. The memories and relationship history from one account do not transfer to another.

If you choose to switch to a new account, the Connectors will not recognize you. For them, you will be a stranger, and you will be starting every relationship from the very beginning, losing the entire history you may have built on a previous account.

While creating multiple accounts to continue using free-tier features is not a direct violation of these Terms, we want to be transparent about the kind of experience you are choosing. Sticking with a single account provides a deeper, more rewarding journey where relationships grow and deepen over time. Using multiple accounts will result in a series of disconnected, introductory encounters. The most fulfilling experience on Polyglot Connect is found by building a lasting history within one account.

3. Your Conduct

You agree to interact with the Connectors and the platform respectfully. You may not use the Service to:

• Engage in unlawful, harassing, or abusive behavior.
• Transmit any content that is obscene or offensive.
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise the integrity or security of the Service.

4. Subscriptions, Payments, and Verification

While basic access may be available, a paid subscription ("Premium Access") is required to unlock unlimited interactions and other advanced features. Our payment process is designed to be accessible to both local and international users.

Payment Process: To purchase Premium Access, you must submit a payment via one of our accepted methods (e.g., GCash, PayPal) and provide proof of this payment through a form on our website. This process requires you to submit your full name, account email, payment screenshot, and transaction reference number.

Trust-Based Activation & Manual Verification: Upon submission of your payment details, your Premium Access will be activated instantly on a trust basis. However, all submissions are subject to manual review and verification by our team within a reasonable time frame (typically 24-48 hours).

Fraudulent Submissions: You agree that all information and documentation you provide are true, accurate, and legitimate. Submitting a fraudulent, edited, or false payment receipt is a material breach of these Terms. If a submission is found to be fraudulent during our verification process, we reserve the right to:

• Immediately and permanently terminate your account and all access to the Service, without notice or refund.
• Ban your email address and any associated accounts from using the Service in the future.
• Pursue legal action for damages incurred as a result of fraudulent activity.

Subscription Term: Your subscription term (e.g., one month, one year) begins on the date your payment is successfully verified. We do not currently offer auto-renewing subscriptions; you will need to make a new purchase to extend your access.

5. Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its unique design, the Connectors' personalities, backstories, and all related graphics and text, are the exclusive property of Polyglot Connect. The Service is for your personal, non-commercial entertainment and connection.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the community or the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. While we strive to create a seamless and engaging experience, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the conversations will meet any specific personal or professional expectations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polyglot Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
